Who operates SaccoShares
SaccoShares is a product of Play360 Solutions LTD, a company incorporated in Kenya. Play360 Solutions LTD is the legal entity responsible for the platform, its data handling, and its published content — full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What SaccoShares does
A SACCO member who wants to exit or reduce their holding lists the shares they want to sell — SACCO, share count, and asking price. Buyers search by SACCO, review the listing, and send a private inquiry. The seller receives the inquiry and continues the conversation and the transfer directly with the buyer and their SACCO. Listings are free to publish; sellers can pay to keep a listing visible and see buyer contact details after a short trial period. See the full walkthrough on our How It Works page.
Alongside the marketplace, we publish a SACCO research directory with financial figures sourced from each SACCO's own published annual reports, and a SACCO news and guides section covering share transfers, dividends, and buyer safety.
What we do not do
SaccoShares is a classifieds platform, not a broker, dealer, or financial adviser. We do not verify share ownership, complete or approve transfers, or guarantee the legitimacy of any SACCO or user. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own due diligence and for following their SACCO's transfer process. The exact detail of what we check and what we don't is in our Verification Policy.
